Carried out by Ford-trained technicians using high-quality Ford Motocraft® parts, the Ford Essential Car Service includes a comprehensive inspection, covering all the essential checks, top-ups‡, oil and filter changes and much more. You will also benefit from the additional features that make Ford servicing simple and convenient.

- Pipes, hoses, wiring, oil and fuel feed lines, exhaust
- Check for routing, damage, chafing and leaks (where visible)

- Check wear and condition, especially at tyre wall, note tread depth

- Check brake pads and discs for wear, check rear brake linings for wear

Dealer fitted accessories are fitted after registration and could have an impact on your vehicle’s fuel consumption. The Combined Fuel Consumption and Combined CO2 Emissions (WLTP) figures do not include dealer fitted accessories.
Ford Essential service and repairs are available at participating Ford Dealers for older passenger cars and commercial vehicles with up to and including 2.5L engines and are applicable to retail customers only. All published prices are recommended retail prices and include parts, labour and VAT. Mustang, RS models and LPG derivatives are excluded.
Fluid levels will be topped-up to the vehicle manufacturer recommended levels and are limited to half a litre (0.5L) of coolant, half a litre (0.5L) of screen wash and 1 litre (1L) of engine oil. Additional quantities of fluid will be charged accordingly with customer’s consent. Should a fault be identified as the reason for a fluid top-up being required then further investigation would be necessary and therefore fluid top-up will not be included.

Ford Video Check is a 30-point, visual reporting tool and is only available at the dealer’s discretion. Contact your local dealer for more information.
Available at participating dealers only. Ford Express Service is recommended for specific Scheduled Service intervals and all Essential Services where two technicians will complete the required service within sixty minutes. Your local participating dealer can advise on eligibility based on your vehicle’s recommended servicing schedule. Any additional work identified during the service will not be completed in this time and will only be carried out when agreed by the customer at additional cost.
