You may choose to opt in/out of certain data sharing. Data coverage and service is not available everywhere. Data rates may be incurred. FordPass Connect feature usage is complimentary for an initial trial period, after which a subscription is payable.
*FHEV (Full Hybrid) vehicles have two sources of power. They can automatically switch between conventional mode, pure electric mode (for short distances) or use both to power the vehicle as needed. Kuga FHEV has a battery capacity of 1.1 KW which allows short term electic propulsion, a great combinataion between power and fuel efficiency, whilst reducing the CO2 footprint compared to a conventional engine.
*mHEV - stands for Mild Hybrid powertrain. This engine which incorporates a small electric motor with a 48 volt battery to help improve efficiency. This mild hybrid powertrain, cannot be driven solely on electric power; instead the electric motor provides additional support to the petrol engine when needed and uses regenerative braking technology to recharge the battery, helping both to increase your vehicle fuel economy, and reduce emission figures. There’s also no need to connect Puma to an external power source, as the 48 volt battery pack is recharged while you drive.
